Is the signature legally binding and eIDAS compliant?
Yes. The service supports Advanced Electronic Signatures (AES), Simple Electronic Signatures (SES), and Qualified Electronic Signatures (QES) – all compliant with EU eIDAS Regulation. AES via Finnish Bank ID is the standard for most Nordic commercial contracts. QES via Smart-ID or Finnish ID card is available for situations requiring the highest legal assurance, such as cross-border agreements and regulated industries.
Can we integrate Allekirjoitus.fi with our own systems?
Yes. The Enterprise Tier provides full access to our REST API using JSON technology. You can trigger signing requests, manage workflows, and retrieve signed files programmatically from your ERP, CRM, or HR systems. We also support Webhooks for real-time status updates (e.g., triggering a “Contract Signed” event in your Salesforce).
Does the service support Single Sign-On (SSO)?
Yes. Enterprise clients can integrate with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD). This allows your employees to log in using their existing corporate credentials, and enables you to manage access rights via your own Active Directory groups.
Can we customize the user experience?
Absolutely. The Enterprise Tier supports White-Labeling. You can host the signing portal on a custom domain (e.g., signing.yourcompany.fi), apply your brand colors/logos to the interface, and customize the email notification templates sent to signatories.
How are online forms handled?
We offer an E-Form Engine that converts PDF templates into interactive web forms. Data entered by the signer can be extracted as metadata and pushed directly to your backend systems via API, eliminating manual data entry.
Where is the data hosted?
The service is hosted on Microsoft Azure infrastructure located within the European Union, ensuring data residency compliance.
