What is Allekirjoitus.fi?
As of October 1, 2025, SK ID Solutions has officially taken over the digital signature service, which is now rebranded as Allekirjoitus.fi. While the name has changed, the functionality and quality of the service remain unchanged. To ensure a smooth transition, Telia will continue to support us until December 31, 2025. We will keep our customers informed about any future updates or changes.
Who is the new service provider, SK ID Solutions?
Founded in 2001, SK ID Solutions is a trusted European provider of electronic identity and digital signature solutions. Our services — Smart-ID, Mobile-ID, timestamping, and certificate solutions — are used by more than 4 million people and over 1,000 organizations in 20 countries. Telia has entrusted us with continuing its digital signature service business, and we will ensure the same high-quality service while making the transition seamless for all customers. Telia is one of the owners of SK ID Solutions, which shows that the service has been transferred to a trusted partner.
What will change for me as a customer?
The digital signature service will continue to function just as it does today. The only change is that SK ID Solutions will become your service provider, and the service name will change to Allekirjoitus.fi. Your current contracts will transfer to us automatically, with all terms remaining the same.
What happens to the services after the transition?
SK ID Solutions took over the digital signature service on October 1, 2025. To ensure a smooth transition, Telia will continue supporting us for a limited period. The service will be rebranded as Allekirjoitus.fi, but the functionality and quality remain the same. Billing will continue under the current arrangements. Any future updates will be communicated by SK ID Solutions.
Will billing change after the transition?
No. Billing will continue as before. If any changes occur, we will inform you well in advance.
What is the transition timeline?
The digital signature service was officially transferred from Telia to SK ID Solutions on October 1, 2025. A transition period runs until December 31, 2025, with no action required from customers.
